Annabelle Sami

Annabelle Sami is is the author of laugh out loud childrens stories.

Loudmouth Levi – a talking toy llama – and the human he’s been sent to help – quiet Yasmin Shah – are firm favourites in our house in their Llama Out Loud and Llama on a Mission books.

In Annabelle’s fun and friendly children’s session she will introduce the kids to the world of funny story writing and why humour is so important in books. She’ll also talk about writing detective stories and how to solve a crime, just like in her Agent Zaiba Investigates series. There will be lots of chances for the audience to join in including a joke telling contest, creating their own brand new talking animal sidekicks and creating their very own detective agency.

Annabelle Sami is a writer, performer and arts producer. She grew up next to the sea on the south coast of the UK and then moved to London, where she now lives. She studied English Literature and Drama and undertook an MA in English Literature at Queen Mary University. When she isn’t writing she enjoys playing saxophone, playing with her dog Rupert and swimming in the sea.
